North Georgia United Methodist - Multiplying Financial Resources for Mission and Ministry

In 2005, the Georgia United Methodist Foundation instituted a Development Fund with a two-fold purpose: to offer loans to United Methodist churches, agencies and institutions and to offer an investment opportunity with competitive yields to United Methodist entities and individuals. These loans may be used for renovations, new construction and to refinance existing loans.

Both programs have succeeded in our mission to "grow the kingdom", allowing United Methodist investors to earn market rates and Methodist entities to borrow money at competitive rates. The program is only available to United Methodist churches, entities and individuals within the State of Georgia.

In 2007, our Development Fund was formally registered with the State of Georgia, which allows us to more widely offer the program to a larger audience. With a minimum investment of $5,000.00, investors can now access competitive market yields and, through their stewardship, assist other United Methodist entities in enhancing their missions.
