2017 Annual Report Letter From Our Leadership
Dear Friends in Christ,
We are blessed to travel throughout Georgia witnessing and being inspired by the incredible things you are doing in the name of Christ. We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with you and share the good work you are doing to change lives.
Bert and Hilary Bennett, Phyllis Gordon, Bill Coffeen and many others are helping to fund the education of future pastors and Christian leaders who love the Lord and want to do God’s work.
We are inspired by our donors who set up estate plans and give generously to support Methodist causes that are close to their hearts like Wesley Glen Ministries, Murphy-Harpst, Breakthru House, Magnolia Manor, The Methodist Home and UMCOR.
We are thankful for our Methodist pastors, members, leaders, churches, districts, conferences and ministries that host Wills Clinics, enroll in our Legacy Ministry Training Program, invest their funds wisely, and step out in faith to revitalize existing churches and start new faith communities so that lives may be changed.
One of the things we’ve heard from current and future pastors is that they want to improve their personal and church financial literacy. And that is why we are developing the Clergy Financial Literacy Academy featuring workshops to train pastors in both personal and church finances.
At the Georgia United Methodist Foundation our mission is simple: Empowering People to Change Lives! Let us partner with you! Call us at 770-449-6726 or 877-220-5664, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.gumf.org today.
Thanks and may God bless you!
