The Georgia United Methodist Foundation's Loan Committee continuously reviews market conditions in order to offer competitive rates to United Methodist churches and ministries in Georgia that wish to refinance debt or build, renovate or expand facilities.
Effective November 1, 2020, GUMF is lowering interest rates on loans.The current and new rates are listed below..
Loan Rates Effective Until October 31, 2020*
- Permanent Loan fixed rates for five years = 4.50%
- Construction Loan rates with terms less than one year = 5.00%
Loan Rates Effective November 1, 2020*
- Permanent Loan fixed rates for five years = 4.25%
- Construction Loan rates with terms less than one year = 4.90%

Meet Our Loan Administrator
Lori Tucker was promoted to Loan Administrator in January 2018 after serving as our Office Assistant beginning in March 2017. Lori will serve as the day-to-day contact for our loan clients by managing loan applications, loan documentation and account servicing.
This newly created position is ideal for her skill sets, which include 11 years of customer service experience with an expertise in problem-solving and managing daily office functions. Lori also has extensive experience working with and managing groups of volunteers in school and ministry settings. Lori currently serves at the teaching leader for Bible Study Fellowship at Norcross First UMC.
Prior to joining GUMF, she served as Staff Accountant at Premier Exhibitions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Arizona State University.
