Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.” – Matthew 18:21-22 (NRSV)

Forgiving others of the harm and hurt they have done to you can be challenging. One of my Father’s quotes was, “Hate causes more damage to the vessel in which it is stored than to the object over which it is poured.” I pray that you will reach out to that person who has caused you to hate and offer forgiveness. Amen.
