United Methodist Scholarship Applications Open January 1

Do you know a Georgia United Methodist student who attends a United Methodist college, university or seminary? Between January 1 and March 1, 2021, the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation will accept applications for the 2021-2022 school year.

UMHEF offers two main scholarship programs. The United Methodist Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Program is a non-competitive scholarship that begins with a $1,000 award from your United Methodist Church and is matched by UMHEF for a total of $2,000. This award can also be matched by participating United Methodist institutions of higher education and the Georgia United Methodist Foundation for a possible total of up to $4,000. The General Named Endowed Scholarship Program is a traditional program that includes awards of various amounts from named funds established by various donors.
