Way to Go Certificate Investors!
The Georgia United Methodist Foundation would like to thank the churches, ministries and individuals who invested over $4.7 million in our Certificate Program from July 2019 through September 2019. Your investments provide much-needed capital so we can catch up with greater than normal loan demand.
Anthony L. (Larry) and Lynda Danna of Suwanee have invested in 10 certificates and one donor-advised fund with GUMF. (See article). Larry Danna explains why his family faithfully supports this ministry.
“Although the certificate rates are very attractive, the main reason we invest is because the money is used to provide loans to United Methodist churches. I personally feel very strongly about this program because our church, McKendree UMC in Lawrenceville, benefited by getting an attractive loan from GUMF,” Danna says. “GUMF was our best option. No bank could be as competitive as to the rates, terms and costs were concerned. Investing in the Certificate Program is a way for us to pay it forward.”
