Where Does the Money Go?

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.” - Matthew 25:35-36

Every time the Georgia United Methodist Foundation sends a donation, we say a prayer of thanks for the saints who established charitable gifts to support Conference-related and other worthwhile ministries. In the last year, Methodists have given away $460,600 through GUMF. Some of the ministries that have historically been blessed by these donations are listed below.

If you would like to make a provision in your will or establish a charitable gift to benefit a ministry close to your heart, please contact Nancy Young, GUMF’s Director of Planned Giving, at 678-708-6601 or nyoung@gumf.org.
